<this danish ship could transport more than 13.000 tonnes

( that means when each container has a wight of 20 tonnes only the cargo would weight ca.26.000 tonnes)

-this giants are only authorized to call a few of ports (about a dozen)

>the  flexibility is very low so these giants arn´t  really economic

-in hamburg for eaxample the huge ships are only allowed to come into the habour with the half of their cargo

> onla ships with about 14m depth are permissesd to come into the most important german habour in hamburg

-the containers include gods like computers from aldi and lidl, cars from DaimlerChrysler, Porsche and BMW or gods like apples, steaks and fruits

-the transportation from one container to asia costs about 50 til 100 dollar, but the way back with the empty boxes costs about 1000 dollar

> so the transportation of a bottle of wine costs less tahn the further transportation from the northern to the southern germany

-at such a higt trnasportind rate there are a lot of accidents: -about 2500 containers are falling annualy into the oceans especially the pacific

> that dangerous for the environment and for the navigation when the boxes don´t decline to the floor of the ocean
